Florida/Cruise Vacation Part 2

Monday morning we got up and got our 15 bags of luggage together and hopped on the shuttle to the port of Miami. We were all so excited! As soon as we got there we headed straight to check in, which was suprisingly fast and easy. We spent the rest of the morning eating, getting settled in our room, eating, and getting read to sail away.

That night we got ready and went to the dining room for a delicious dinner. The food on the ship was amazing. They had so many delicious things to chose from, and you never left hungry (actually most of the time we left miserable from eating WAY too much!) The best thing on the menu, which luckily they had every night, was the chocolate melting cake. They came in little individual bowls. The top was delicious chocolate cake and right below was delicious melted chocolate. Oh and to top it off it came which yummy vanilla ice cream! After dinner the waitstaff put on a little performance and danced to "Low" by Flo Rida. You better beleive that Peyton hopped right out of her chair and danced the entire dance with one of the waitresses. She was teaching Peyton all the moves. The best part of course was when she got "low"!

Tuesday morning we got up early and left the boat to check out Key West. We did a trolley excursion that you could hop on and off of, and takes you all around the city. It was amazing. For some reason I pictured Key West as another beach city, but it wasn't at all. It had so much history, and the entire town was filled with such lucsious greenery. It was so beautiful. We were so sad that we didn't have more time there. We are already planning on driving there on our next Florida trip and spending a few days there.

That night was formal night. We all got dressed up and headed to dinner. This time we decided to take Peyton to the kids camp that they had on board. We didn't think she would enjoy a 2 hour fancy meal nearly as much. And we were right! She loved the kids camp. They had so many fun games and activities planned for them at all times. It was a great place to take her for an hour or two when we were doing things that wouldn't be that much fun for her. Stay tuned for Vacation Part 3!

Miami as we were leavingport.

Sissy and Daddy at the tip of the ship.
On the top deck, the miniature golf course behind us.

Peyton and the waitress dancing. Afterwards she gave Peyton a huge hug and kept telling us how cute she was. Like we didn't already know!

She loves to dance!

In the atrium after dinner.

Our first towel pet. She thought they were so cool. We looked forward to coming back to the room every night so see what they made.

Just got off the boat in Key West. Looks like someone is still a bit tired!

The awesome tree in Key West. Look at all those crazy limbs.

Ever Teddy Bear enjoyed the trolley ride!
