Confessions of a Toddler Drama Queen: Disney World part 3

We were supposed to wake up super early on Thursday morning and get to Blizzard Beach at 8. This totally didn't happen!! We were all so worn out from the day before that we really wanted to sleep in. The cool thing was that it was OUR vacation, and WE could do whatever we wanted, so we did!! We slept in until 11. It was much needed that's for sure. We threw on our water park gear, grabbed some delicious lunch at our hotel and headed to the water park.

Blizzard Beach was so freaking awesome. The whole theme is like a ski resort. All of the water slides looked like they were on mountains with snow. They even had a real ski lift to take you up to the top of the "mountain" for some of the bigger slides. Peyton thought that was super cool! We spent about half of the time in the kiddie area and the other half checking out all the cool rides they had. In the beginning Peyton was a little scared of doing anything other than this one kiddie slide. They had a slide in the kiddie area that used a kids tube, but she just wasn't having it. After a few hours though she decided she wanted to give it a try and after that she was a water sliding machine. She worked her way from the kiddie slide, to the "teenage area" slides that used tubes, to the huge water slide where the tube held 6-8 people. She even had her hands up in the air "screaming" with the teenage girls that ended up on the big tube with us. It was a pretty awesome. After about 4 hours it started raining and the ended up shutting down the park. We were pretty much ready to go at this point so it was cool by us.

We headed back to our hotel and chilled for a while and then went to Beaches and Cream for dinner at our hotel. It was this super cute diner with yummy food and even yummier dessert. We even played in the arcade next door while we waited on a table to open up. After dinner we were stuffed and called it an early night so we could be ready for the incredibly huge day we had ahead of us!!
