Confessions of a Toddler Drama Queen: Disney Cruise Part 3-Grand Cayman Islands!!

Monday-

We got up early and met a few more characters. Donald and Woody!! We hadn't planned on doing an excursions in Grand Cayman, but at the last minute Chad decided he wanted to do some type of tour or learn some history of the island. I found an excursion where you spent 1/2 the time on a bus touring the island and then the other half on a boat. It was one of the only ones that we could do with Harper and it sounded fun so we jumped on it!!

Before it was time to go to the theater to register for our excursion we hung outside on the deck for a while and played with some of the outdoor toys. Then headed to the theater and got registered. We had to wait there for about 20 minutes before it was time to head down and one of the Cast Members asked the crowd if anyone wanted to sing on stage. And of course Peyton hopped right out of her seat and ran up on stage. I guess the only song she could think of was Taylor Swift "Mean". She couldn't remember all the words, but she still did so awesome!! There was a lot of people in the theater and they all cheered for her. I love how brave she was.

By then it was time to head down and tender to shore. Unfortunately it was raining in Grand Cayman, so instead of doing the boat ride first we did the bus ride. The rain got really heavy, but luckily we were sheltered!! The island was really pretty and we learned a lot about it. We stopped at an area called "Hell" and got to take pics of the extremely old lava rocks. By the time the weather cleared up we were ready to hop on the boat. The weather turned out to be beautiful and the boat ride was so much fun. We got to see these really cool trees called Mangroves that had these weird roots and also took a tour of the really nice expensive houses on the island. I think the girls had a great time and Chad and I did too.

When we got back from the tour we had a few hours before we had to get on the boat so we found a local place to eat lunch and ate these delicious jerk chicken sandwiches. Yummy!!

That night was the National Football Championship Game so we had booked Harper for the nursery and planned on taking P to the kids club. We dropped Harp off and then instead of going to our early dinner, Chad and P decided to go to the early magic show and I went to the spa for an hour massage and 30 minute facial!! I needed some mommy pampering :) After that we dropped P off at the kids club and grabbed some dinner and headed out to the pool to watch some of the game on the giant screen tv out by the pool. After half time we decided to leave and grab the girls and go see the late night showing of the Lone Ranger at the movie theater. Harp fell asleep on my lap within about 5 minutes of the movie starting so it worked out perfect!!
