Mini Family Vacation.

This past weekend me, Chad, Peyton, Tam and Darren loaded up and headed to Dallas to visit Jamey, Marnie and the kids. Jamey's team was in town playing the Rangers so we got to see him play which was just icing on the cake!!  Friday when we got there we all went and had lunch (except Presley, she was still in school), after that Jamey had to head to the field so we went and picked Presley up from school and the Chad and Darren took all the kids home to play so Marn, Tam and I could do a little shopping!! Yes, the live like 2 blocks from Presley's school and another block from that is this awesome shopping center with Anthropologie, Tory Burch, super cute home stores, restaurants, etc. So much fun, especially when the weather was as awesome as it was!!

After blowing some moola we headed home to get ready and went to the baseball game and got lucky enough to watch Jamey pitch, and do awesome might I add!! After the game most of us were so worn out, but that didn't stop us from going out on the town!! We met some of Jamey's friends out at a cool little bar and hung out til I couldn't keep my eyes open, which also happened to be when the bar was closing down!! And of course going out just isn't complete without hitting up a fast food place on the way home. Which this time just happened to be In and Out Burger! Um yum, one of my fave places and I only get it when I got to Vegas. But now they are in Dallas. woo hoo. So 8 burgers, 5 fries, 3 shakes, and ice tea and 6 hats (see pic below) later we made it home.

That next day we got to go to Jett's t-ball game which was of course awesome. We decided not to go to the baseball game that day and get a little rest before the OU game that night. We had some people over to watch them game and we also made a million pizzas in the brick oven outside. Um delicious.

The next day we got up and said our goodbyes and headed home (after stopping by Ikea of course). The trip was so fast and we were all so sad to leave the kids again. But Jamey's season is over now and hopefully we'll get to see them a lot this off season!
