We finally arrived at our condo and were pleasantly surprised. It was amazing. It's 2 bedrooms with 2 baths. A cute kitchen and super nice living room with fire place and couches. And a phenomenal balcony with the best views ever. We stayed long enough to see the place and then headed back on the road to the Durango Mountain resort where we spent a few hours. The first thing we did was ride the chair lifts up to the mountain. The views were so freaking crazy. So many trees, mountains and lakes in sight. The craziest part was that Peyton actually went on the chair lift. It went up almost 10,000 ft. And it wasn't very safe as far as having a seat belt or anything. I was so scared that Peyton was going to be scared or that something would happen and she's slip out! But I held onto her like crazy, and she loved the ride the entire way. She was so impressed with the trees and the mountains.
When we got back to our condo we just chilled on the balcony and watched the rain fall. The temp was about 70 degrees and it couldn't have felt better. Then mom made some spaghetti and we ate at the dinner table and had a super duper relaxing evening. It's almost bed time now and we're all getting excited about the train ride in the morning.
Here is a million pics that I took from today!
Yeah looks like super cool place, but it was just a gas station with a pond in the background!
At the Aztec ruins. You will notice in every "family" picture Peyton doesn't ever look at the camera!
The ruins. So amazing.
The Durango Mountain resort. So beautiful!!
Chad coming off the chair lift on the mountain.
On the mountain about to head back down!
It was a little hard getting a pic of Peyton and I on the chair lift.
My mom and dad about to get off the lift.
After the mountain Peyton spotted the bounce house and of course had to go on it. She loved it. This has been such a wonderful vacation for her.
