Christmas Eve!!

We had the best Christmas Eve this year. Chad's family came over in the after noon to eat a HUGE Mexican feast. It was so good. We had Chad's mom's Mexican rice, refried beans, carne asada tacos, and Mexican ribs. After we ate we opened gifts. Holy cow, Peyton got hooked up. Thanks Grandma!! She got some adorable clothes, jammies, Woody doll with blanket, T-Rex from Toy Story (her fave movie!), lots of books and coloring books, a barbie, adorable poodle purse with a little bit of money in it (she loves change), and her favorite gift of all was a little Woody doll with Bullseye the horse.  I don't think she put it down all night!!  Chad's mom did so good this year. Peyton loved everything. After we did that, we all got together and played Apples to Apples and Taboo. Chad's family is definitely fun to play games with!

Posing in her Christmas dress. She's been dying to wear it for a month now!

My awesome family!

After they left Peyton put on her new jammies and got ready for bed. Then we put out milk and cookies forSanta. She was soooooo excited!!

I love this picture. She looks so grown up.

Here's the excitement I was referring too!

After we put Peyton to bed we went over to the Blackburns for our 1st annual Christmas Eve get together. Don't worry, we checked on Peyton frequently and had a monitor outside her door! The best part of the night was trying to take a picture to document our 1st annual Whitburn (that's our combined last name, so that's what we call our get togethers now!) Christmas Eve. We only had my camera and I couldn't find the setting to put the camera on a timer. So we had to have one of us hold the camera and take a picture. We probably took 25 pics before getting a decent one. The outtakes were hilarious. We were all cracking up the entire time. It was pretty amuzing!

This was my fave outtake because Ryan's face is resting on Chad's head. For some reason we thought that was the funniest thing ever. Oh and I had to put the picture in "antique" coloring, because I don't think we are that cute that up close!!

And here is the best one we got. Can't wait for next year!!
