Christmas with the Whitmire's

This year we celebrated Christmas with Chad's family a few days early. His mom and Dad came up on Saturday morning and we headed downtown to meet the rest of the family, and check out the Christmas festivities at the Devon building. It was really cool! They had the huge lobby opened up and had crafts and things for the kids, live music, story time with Mrs. Clause, and pics with Santa and Frosty. We hung out there for a while and then headed back to my house for our traditional Christmas Mexican feast. It was delicious as always! After we ate we all gathered in the living room to open a billion gifts. The kids had a blast.

After Christal, Will and the girls left we loaded up our girls and took Chad's parents to see the Chesapeake lights and this really cool neighborhood that had a ton of houses that danced to Christmas music. By the time we got home we were all exhausted!!

That next morning we took Chad's parents to our church for the Christmas service. The music was amazing and the sermon was a great one. My parents met us there and afterwards we all ate lunch at Yamato in Norman. I think Chad's dad was very fascinated by that place! He stared at the cook the entire time and watched him cook very intently. It was pretty funny. After lunch they headed back to Durant. It was really nice to get to spend some time with them and I know the girls were happy to see Grandma and Pops!

Sweet girls at the park downtown!

Cousins!!

They had "snow" outside!

By far her favorite gift!
